Bucket List of Projects

Listed below are some of the artistic concepts I am pursuing that will require the assistance of a model. I try to find unusual, striking settings and make each shoot as unique and creative as possible. An underlying theme of many of these concepts is subject/setting contrast. For instance: a seasonal costumes or professional attire on a mountaintop, a sand dune, a playa, at Moon Rocks, etc.; the beauty of the female form vs. the industrial grunginess of graffiti-covered railroad tracks/rail cars/railroad bridges; brightly colored clothing contrasted with subdued desert colors; the fresh look of a beautiful young lady contrasted with the dilapidated look of abandoned structures.

I would also love to hear your ideas for creative shoots or interesting details to contribute to the artistic endeavors in the list below.

Concepts that are checked are ones that I have done some work on but would like to pursue farther.

And, of course, there are the more common types of shoots that I'm always happy to do.

Let me know if you are interested in collaborating on some artistic portrait work. As part of our collaborative effort, you will receive many images in full resolution and several edited images, all royalty free to use as you wish (portfolio, Instagram, gifts, etc.). I just need a few pics to put in my portfolio.

A bit more regarding shoots:

  • For the cooler weather shoots (after all, this is Nevada) I have a spot-light heater that shines a beam of heat to take the edge off the chill.
  • I have special portable continuous lighting equipment for night time shoots in (semi)remote locations.
  • Some shoots require a cash infusion or additional props and will therefore require more advanced planning.
